Carved into a giant standing tree stump, into a character log or an upside-down tree root; wood spirits are an absolute joy for the artist to do… even though the physical exertion might suggest otherwise!
Nowhere else in the carving realm has the carver such freedom of expression. Most wood spirits are done on-site by commission.
